se transmite al sistema de distribución
de energía de la vivienda –normalmente
radiadores, suelo radiante por agua o fancoils.

The Willis building was realized by Belcotec as an innovation center for its own use. “We named it in honor of the inventor of air-conditioning, Willis Carrier”, explained Jan Vangeel, CEO at Belcotec, and added: “We wanted to make a statement with our own building. The energy level is 28, which is very low for office buildings.
After carefully examining all available options, the homeowner decided on Thermia. The system proposed by Atlas Trading was based on the Thermia Diplomat Optimum G3 8kW ground-source heat pump with passive cooling module and met all the project requirements.
The Aletschspa is heated by two inverter-driven Thermia Mega ground-source heat pumps with a heating capacity of 14-59 kW. Ground water with a temperature of around 10°C is the energy source for the heat pump. The heating system covers floor heating as well as pool and floatation pool heating. Cooling (air-conditioning) is provided by passive cooling, which means that energy to cool the facilities comes from the ground water.
El hotel y el spa se climatizan gracias a las bombas de calor geotérmicas Thermia. 18 bombas de calor Robust con una capacidad total de 715 kW proporcionan calefacción, refrigeración y agua caliente sanitaria a 24.000 m2 repartidos entre habitaciones, spa, oficinas, tiendas y apartamentos.
Cuando la familia Carlsson se traladó a su nuevo hogar, estaban utilizando una caldera de gasoil y una estufa de pellets para calentar la casa. La caldera estaba alcanzando el final de su vida útil y la estufa de pellets requería bastante atención.
La energía consumida para calefacción bajó a 2.847 kWh, generando una energía calorífica para la vivienda de 9.373 kWh. De este modo, un 70% se obtiene sin coste de energía y es además energía renovable. Las anteriores emisiones de 4.240 kg de CO2 bajaron a 2.070 kg, lo que supone una considerable reducción del 51%, (2.170 kg. CO2).

Performance that speaks for itself
The investor was building a new house and decided to use a renewable energy source. The house has a living area of 235 m² and is located in the town of Domžale, central Slovenia, around 15 minutes from Ljubljana and the same distance from the Alps. The homeowner was very well informed about different types of renewable energy sources, as well as about the energy demand of his new home. The basement features a home spa with sauna, fitness machines and a Jacuzzi, which requires heating throughout the year.

Modern spa benefits from green technology
The Aletschspa is the newest part of the Alex hotel and is fully dedicated to spa and wellbeing facilities. It features an 80 m2 pool and offers many ways to relax, from the ergonomically shaped bubble loungers to the air-filled “aqua rondo” water station. The spacious pool has enough room for aqua-fitness. Children can enjoy splashing around in the small fountain in the separate children’s pool.
